3:00 am Alarm

15 Jul

I woke up at 3:00 am this morning.  It is now almost 11:15 am.  I am exhausted.  But I’m glad I did it.  I’ll tell you why.

This morning I was so blessed to be a part of the sending off of one of our YMI teams to Brazil.  I have spent the last two days observing their pre-trip briefing, and it was so sweet to pray over them and send them off to the mission-field.  I’ve been able to see what goes on as our teams do the last bit of their preparation before they go out and serve, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Summer time is such a happening time for us.  A group just got back from Guatemala, one team is about to return from the Philippines, another group just left for Brazil, and one group leaves for South Korea tomorrow.  God is doing some exciting things!

In my last blog I mentioned that Fuller found my transcripts.  And – drum roll please – I GOT ACCEPTED!  Thank you so much for all the prayers.  Classes start at the end of September, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Sorry for this being so short, but there is lots of ministry to do (and my brain is fried).  Hope you’re all beating the heat and enjoying your summer!
